2013 – Awarded CalgaryMinor Soccer Association “Award of Merit”


2013 – Restructuring recreational soccer in Hamptons, Sherwood, Sage Hill and a bunch of other NW communities.


2013 – Coached fourth daughter’s last soccer team.


2012 – Involved in formation of Calgary Northside Soccer, elected to Board of Directors.


2010 – Took Hamptons U15 & U17 Girls soccer teams to Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden.


2008 – 2010 – Elected to Board of Directors of the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists.


2004 – 2010 – Must admit it’s a bit of a blur. Coordinating, coaching, refereeing and playing soccer, helping coach hockey, even managed to coach some basketball. The kids still laugh that they would show up at some random friend’s house and I’d be in the team picture on the mantle. Hit 50 blood donations in there as well.


2004 – First Tier II Soccer Provincial Gold medal.


2002 – 2010 – Coaching hockey as well as soccer.


2001 – 2002 – Treasurer, St.Dominic Parent Council


2001 – Helped start the St. Pius X “Innfrom the Cold” program. I worked the graveyard shift for many years. I am currently volunteering with the St. Luke’s “Innfrom the Cold”.


2000 – Convention committee for first national joint convention between geophysicists, geologists and engineers.


1999 - 2012 – Start and coordinate Hamptons Soccer program. Help expand and formalize NW Inter community house league soccer program. I received a 93% approval rating in online survey in 2012.


1998 – 2013 – Geophysical society committees. This would include convention, outreach and technical committees at various times.


1996 - 2013 – Coaching Youth soccer.


1987 – Chairman, National Undergraduate Physics Conference


1986-87 – President, U of C Undergraduate Physics Society


1981 – Began donating blood
